About Turangi
A Township Founded By Hard Working People, Salt Of The Earth.
Built to accommodate the workers for the development of the Hydro-electric power scheme in the days of the Ministry of Works. During that time Turangi Dental Centre was founded for the provision of dental services for the region which at the time was largely non-existent. Since then Turangi Dental has advanced with time to what it is now. In 2016 Dr Yathen Jayaweera joined the team and discovered what many before him had come to realize. That Turangi and the South side of the lake was a hidden oasis. In 2018 he saw it fit to purchase Turangi Dental Centre and took it upon his shoulders to provide the best dental care he can provide to the people. We are blessed with a fantastic team who will work tirelessly to provide you with the best dental experience you have ever had.
